WASHINGTON-Canada’s controversial tar sands industry took its first retail blow Wednesday as two Fortune 500 companies announced plans to eliminate the high-carbon Alberta fuel from its supply chain.

    Big deal, sell it to China.

    So now these U.S. companies are going to buy the oil from countries that want to attack the United States and kill Infidel Americans. Fund the terrorist... :roll:

    I’d be far more interested in how they can possibly determine where the oil that they use comes from. You can’t fault them for the reasons, but implementing the decision is impossible.

    Exactly........just a bunch of self promotion that they don't have to follow up on. May even raise the price a bit.

    LEt them wave the flag and drill, drill, drill. When their domestic supply is gone we'll be able to charge even more.
    In the meantime someone else will buy it.
