OTTAWA - Silence hovered outside the visitors room. All three coaches eventually emerged single-file -- stone-faced, visibly disappointed. More silence followed before the door slammed open and an equipment bag was tossed violently on a heap.

How can they call that holding penalty with a minute to go and miss the hooking call on the Sens 3rd goal?

Refresh my memory on the 3rd goal - who was hooking who?

My guess is that the holding call was for that obvious missed call a few minutes earlier, when Kelly was cross-checked head first into the board by Stajan right in front of the ref. I could NOT believe the shit both teams got away with last night But then, it was Auger

And as a Sens fan, I was VERY displeased with that holding penalty in the last minute of the game. That's just bad reffing...

Auger is a lackluster ref at the best of times, none of his games are called consistantly. The flame had some moments but I found them to be flat in their own end and unable to do much in the o zone either.
Regretably I missed the first 2 periods, which by all accounts were the best of the gam.

I thought it was obviously holding. you can't pull a players arm into your body then squeeze it, and take him down.

I was just quoting how Sport Net Calgary saw the game.
It was nice that the game ran past the blackout time so I could watch the last minute on your channel.
