I agree, and true to biker form this is probably blown out of proportion by their lawyers.
Funny how one of the RC's was in the hospital but none of the bikers.

it is too bad the RCMP, cannot control or even arrest a criminal organization that so openly displays itself..... these two cops show their frustration , by getting drunk picking a fight and finding themselves charged with assault...........but don't worry, the Attorney General of British Columbia and the Crown would never follow through with these charges...they never have.....

These two guys deserve a good pat on the back! Hitting a biker should be a right.

    Yup.
Kind of like when you see patches passing you on the highway and you get the urge to shove them into the ditch with your F-150.
One shouldn't have to fight that urge.

Would I be safe in assuming that by 'biker' you are referring to 'member of clearly marked criminal organization', rather than just anyone who happens to ride a scooter?

oh, thank you for that. :)

So wearing ' biker clothing ' should be an open invitation
    to be assaulted ?

Hows about getting extra bonus points for shooting cops between the eyes,
and just regular points for shooting them in the balls ?

Now that I have your attention....

    this is just more media

BS being shoveled around for absolutely no good reason,

Oh look its the big bad bikers, oh no, run away

But its the RCMP who are going to wind up looking bad.. again.

    Oh I like this,

    from our Col. Williams thread....

just change police and military to biker, and predator to
general criminal, and there you go :)

Stokes has a fair point. The media can't see past a uniform just like some members of this forum lump everybody in biker uniform as some kind of Borg-like collective.

Already 'noted' columnists are looking for easy sound bites on how the biker culture is responsible for a serial criminal etc.

The media are just a total shower of shite.

The RCMP say it all started with a "shoulder bump" inside a nightclub last August and escalated into a fight outside.

It involved the off-duty officers and several of their friends who squared off against as many as 20 other people in biker regalia.

Looks like neither side is the innocent victim here.

Of course wearing HA regalia should not mean you get assaulted for it. But since you're getting in people's face about what a bad boy you are, it's understandable that people would think like that. Same as with all the gangstas we got running around here. Just people with teeny egos (maybe something else too?) who need to build themselves up.

I'm pretty sure that I 'pegged EB's meaning' in my previous post Martin. Otherwise, this guy and 'His Bro's' are hooped!

    :D :D

    Well done Yogi !

I'm sure EB was referring to a specific group, my principal
objection to this article was the fearsome ' biker clothing '..

such a load of .. what was it.. a total shower of shite. ;)
