Prime Minister Stephen Harper has new competition in the form of an onion ring and the onion ring is so far the hands-down winner.

There are times the Onion ring would win against our political leaders as well. This is not the way it should be.

Well, the voters should get off their arses and vote then.

I remember the last GE and there were plenty of supposedly politically active types on this forum who didn't even vote.

I'm sure there is a good chunk on here now who didn't vote last time. I'm sure they could click on a facebook page though.

Every vote counts, even if your candidate doesn't win.

I'd sooner see the onion ring elected President, but seriously your right, people should get off their arses and vote otherwise don't complain about what you get.

An onion ring? No. But a Tim Horton's coffee? Landslide victory!

Making onion rings right now and finishing off some left over ingredients. My wife wonders why my beer batter always calls for three whole cans of beer.

3 cans? Making just a couple of onion rings.? My recipe calls for no less than a six pack for beer batter!

Hmmmm, they both can make you cry. Both can be a little bitter going down, BUT I have to give my vote to Harper in this case. I freakin HATE onions

Exactly. Some people who bitch about the electoral process, only to not vote, are by far the biggest bunch of babies out there. If people don't like who's Prime Minister, go vote. If you didn't vote, but bitch about the results, shut up.
