Oh well, I guess now everyone knows what a douche he is, which is what everyone in Ward 18 has known for a while. Time for him to withdraw and disappear.

It really doesn't affect his ability to be mayor of Toronto. After all, Mel Lastman was a douchebag who denied his mistress's and his bastard children's existance, and he did alright. And look at the inept boner they got now. Doesn't matter. The civil servants run the city anyway. Who's the politician you can trust? Nooooobody!

Absolutely true, well, except for the part about Lastman "doing alright". He was a disaster. But there is a sort of a sick pleasure derived when a complete Chiach like Giambrone goes down. He was an arrogant little pissant baby trying to play grown-up. Doogie Howser? More like Frank Abagnale.
