Prime Minister Stephen Harper, a serious hockey buff, played the role of interviewer Friday night as he quizzed NHL legends Gordie Howe and Wayne Gretzky at a Saskatoon charity event.

Yep, I see he's doing some really important work while he's not sitting in Parliament.

Me too.. And I'm glad that he's trying to walk a mile in the shoes of the Liberal media, asking tough questions even though the organizers tried to limit the questions asked by the press.

Prior to Harper’s Q&A session with the Gretzky and Howe, the media was notified by Gretzky’s press agent there was a possibility they would be able to speak with the past Oiler-great following his stage appearance but there were no promises.

If any of the media were to be granted the sacred opportunity to exchange words with Gretzky, it was emphasized that there would be no questions about the Olympics — period.

No later than five minutes after that did Harper march on stage with Gretzky and the Prime Minister asked his first question — about the Olympics.

Was Iggy at this dinner, or did they perform abortions there? I don't understand the connection.

Not so easy to win last word game.. We're talking about the importance of budget consultations with Gordie Howe and "The Great One" Wayne Gretzky.. Why are you bringing up abortion?

What do you mean boring? Parliamentary games like talking about abortion take away the Government's ability to consult with real Canadians about the economy. That's the top priority of this government. REAL Canadians, like Gordie Howe, and The Great one. Not some stupid MP that you elected.

Absolutely correct. Iggy should be ashamed for playing Parlimentary games. And here's the irony, HE WASN'T EVEN ELECTED!!!!
