Maybe this will end the media storm. With this and H1N1 fizzling out, I wonder what will be next?

Class action launched against Toyota and CTS

I'd choose a Toyota with a sticky gas pedal over any GM product.

I fear Toyota's problems are just beginning... Last night on CTV News Kim Parlee advised rumours are this will not resolve Toyota's gas pedal problem as the problem is with the electronics...

There are also a few class action suits against Toyota and CTS...

The good old balloon behind the gas pedal will fix it !

Recalls are like colon exams. Sooner or later everyone gets one. This isn't going to change my decision that my next vehicle is still going to be a toyota, (or possibly a ford i suppose).

Toyota has admitted CTS was only building the part to Toyota specs, and that Toyota's design was more to blame...

Wow. Sounds like EVERY TOYOTA MUST BE A BAD PRODUCT... Funny. I wonder if the same goes for Durex? "There's a hole in my condom, I am pregnant! Durex sucks!"
No sex is the solution, lady!

Did I mention I got a recall letter from Ford, for my 15 year old Explorer, because some part might eventually burst into flames? I guess every Ford is a bad product just because of that...

What to do if your Toyota suddenly accelerates....

Unlike many other vehicle manufacturers, Toyota and Lexus did not incorporate a critical safety feature into their vehicles that shifts the vehicle into neutral when the driver pushes down on the brake pedal. This means that the relatively small Toyota and Lexus brakes do not have enough power to stop the vehicle when the engine is racing out of control. Do not pump your brakes as this will cause your brakes to fail.

The only reason this is news is because this is the first significant safety issue this company has had and the opportunists with the less than shining agendas will do their best to take advantage of it.
