Two types of subway riders I hate are the people on the train who wait til right before the door closes to stand up,gather up their shit and get off and the people on the platform who rush onto the train as soon as the doors open before people waitng can disembark. If these dogs evolve to attack those people, the TTC should import them immediately.

I think the guard dogs and the beggars are the most interesting. I wonder if it's really increased intelligence, or the smell of food on said person. If a dog can smell a person with food, wouldn't they be more likely to part with it? Anyway, either way, this sounds extremely interesting...

i live in st petersburg now, you can see these dogs all the time on the metro stations, usualy outside but sometimes down int he metro aswell.... i never understood how they get on the escalator...i guess the guards dont bother to stop them. the guard dong thing is completely true though. it is really amazing to see how many stray dogs there are in this city
