"Our message is ... people should treat Moko as a wild animal, with respect, and get out of the water if they're not happy,"

I like that message, after all we humans are intruding into his home.

New Zealand law protects sea mammals from harassment, with offenders facing fines of up to 30,000 New Zealand dollars ($22,200) under the Marine Animals Protection Act.

Now if Canada would only to the same here to protect animal abuse, cats, dogs, horses - domesitic aminals.

Some dolphins can become a little aggressive in their 'play'. As the article said, these aren't pets and they have pesonalities(and the moods and quirks that go with them) and an intelligence just as complex as humans.

Go swim in a pool if don't want deal with a playful dolphin. Excellent protection for a cute dolphin with character. I'd be proud to know such a critter, lol.

    "hey come here often?" 8O

hehehehe. I get a kick out of dolphins. More and more I think they aren't that different from us. Except, dolphins have never been known to attack humans - unlike some humans. (Goosing doesn't count. ;) )
