Maybe the judge and lawyer representing her should have a gun to their head, then see what happens. I wonder what the judge what have said if it was a family member. Rightttt...woman judge!!! No wonder!!!

Sorry, nothing against women. Meant to say judge should not treat her differently because she is a female.

A pre-sentence report assessed the woman as a low-risk to reoffend and recommended she not be sentenced to time in custody.

So she never gets bored again?

Stannard said jail would expose the first-time offender to bad influences and jeopardize her rehabilitation.

Um..so lets never send anyone to jail on a first offense then duhhhh. Of course I'm just an idiot and not privy to the vast wisdom of a judge but someone robbing people for any reason IS a bad influence already.

Court heard the girl came from a stable home and had no prior run-ins with the law.

Or, she never got caught until now....

"I think you made a horrible, horrible mistake that particular night," Stannard said. "I don't think this accurately reflects how you were raised and how you feel."

Who cares who, where and how she was raised. We have a two their justice system now? One for people from good families and one for the "other class?" We are not talking shoplifting here, its ARMED robbery!!!!
