What the hell has gotten into Harper? He only seems to open his mouth to change feet lately. What’s really pitiful is that he’s making Ignatieff look good just by being so stupid.

    Time for a leadership review.

Ignatieff says Stephen Harper's claim that shutting down Parliament allows him to avoid instability as it prepares a new economic agenda is the best joke he has heard in a while.

Yep, it's almost as funny as having some guy that didn't live here for the better part of 30 years thinking he should be PM. First he considered himself one of the British, then he called America HIS country. Sounds to me like Iggy will be whatever he needs to be if it serves HIS purposes.
Sorry Igster, Harper might not be all that good, but so far you have not shown ONE reason why you'd be any better.

We have the same problems in the States. In the last election for Governor of New Jersey I looked at the candidates listed and I was so disgusted I wrote in "none of the above"; but I'm getting off the thread, but it is sad when one idiot politician is making another idiot politician look good.

This is an excellent idea. I saw some time in the past a suggestion that "none of the above" be included on all ballots. If "none of the above" is the first past the post than a new election is held, with none of the candidates from the first election being allowed to run. What do you think?

I love it. I don't see why us as taxpayers can't have our own version of a no confidence vote, even it's just at election time

Why? Cause we'd boot every one of those lame bastards out of office all the time. Think about it, do you have any confidence in any politician?...ANY?

With our multi-political party system, it would only take about 33% of the voting population to out the buggers. I would hope that ,in such a "crisis", someone would, like pond scum, rise to the surface and evolve into some higher lifeform.

Last year's Prorogue was BS, but at least it had a Reason and may have been necessary for Stability. I can't figure out WTF this one is for.
