In my class a boy was the smartest in school followed by two girls. Two of which were asians (No suprise there).

Anyways, I always thought that whole gender gap thing was some idiotic gender teasing or something. I never realized it was taken seriously? How can anybody actually think one gender is superior intellectually than another. We both have the same brains, the ones which are the ones capable of doing all this.

Each person is capable of whatever they wish, some people have handicaps like learning dissabilities however those can be over-come. Like eistien overcame his.

Seriously though, still cannot believe people actually took that seriously, like it was factual science. Ridiculous.

Its not that boys are smarter than girls but girls were not encouraged to take these classes. Math and Science is generally not considered "cool" for girls.

my OAC Calculus class had 6 girls, OAC Algebra had 3 girls, OAC Physics had 4 girls

i dont think my experience was that unique. Once science and math classes become electives, i am sure that you will find similar attendance in most schools.

Actually men and women do have structural differences between their brains. It's been proven that men and women navigate differently as well. However, that being said, I know plenty of girls/women that excelled in maths and science.
