With Canadian lotteries, isn't there some rule saying if you win, you have to allow the lottery corporation to publicize the fact you won?

If so that sucks for obvious security reasons.

Step 1 when winning the lotto is hire a lawyer, then any requests for info ect have to go through the law firm and your not badgered everyday by some handout case or charity. Step 2 is a chartered accountant to help you handle your finances, unless you know how to handle large sums yourself.
Too many people, especially in the states blow all their winnings within a few years and end up worse off than they were before winning.
I do hope this guy is just on a beach somewhere laying low and enjoying the rich life, but I have to admit it looks likely that he is dead.
