It would be cool, both Taylor and Steve Hall admit, for the son to start his pro career at the same place his dad started his. "I've been looking at the standings," said dad Steve. "The thought has crossed my mind."
Who ever gets that young lad is getting a pretty complete package. He reads the ice well, works hard, fast, the boy has puck skill and he's not a detriment in his own end. A few of his moves and shots this World Juniors have been, well, F-in amazing!

Did ya see him chase that puck all the way around the USA end the other night and almost beat it back to center ice?
WHERE he hammered the guy who picked it up?
Wow
I don't recall that one, must have been on a biffy break...
The boy is puck hungry, no question though and for a "skilled" player, he's not afraid to go into the corners and get that puck. His tenacity and skill kinda reminds me of Iggy actually.
You Oil-nuts are gonna have to hope your team tanks it in the 2nd half. The Hurricane's look poised to pick 1st overall. Hall, Boychuck and Staal...sounds like the best line in the NHL in a couple of years.

Not if they don't pick the right ping pong ball they won't. Oilers just have to finish in the bottom 5 and pick the magic ball with the #1 on it.
Just like the Hawks did in 07.
