Wacky warm spell comes to Iqaluit

I'm curious to know if our wacky weather is from genuine climate warming or the magnetic field. Definitely wierd weather we been getting.

Since Sacramento's cold spell undermines Climate Change, it stands to reason that this confirms it.

It's happening because warmer Atlantic is being funnelled into the Arctic, causing warmer than normal temperatures.

It's kind of like how Europe is a fair bit warmer than it should be because of the ocean currents that bring warmer waters to NW Europe. The difference here is that Europe's climate is pretty much permanent (unless you've seen the Day After Tomorrow ) and Iqaluit's will be temporary.

As for Iqaluit , big deal they break a one day record by 1 degree a record that's only 40 years old.

Despite being as far north as parts of Canada, NW Europe enjoys a much milder climate. That's a well known fact...

But in case you're limited education limits yours understanding in this matter, look at a globe and tell me that London, which is pretty close in latitude to Calgary, doesn't have warmer average temperatures than Calgary throughout the winter months.

There is a difference, y'know...

Climate Change is a better explanation than Global Warming as it accounts for extreme weather, and temperature changes, both up and down, associated with changes in climate.

Yep, in general, winters are milder and warmer in NW Europe than those at similar latitudes courtesy of the North Atlantic current.

Snow falling this year does not mean that winters in the Netherlands are always colder than they are here in Canada, just like a warm day in Iqaluit doesn't mean it's always warmer than Amsterdam.

Edmonton recently broke records for its cold weather last week/weekend, but the average daily high for those December dates historically is -5, not the -35 temps we had.

Anomalies may happen, but that's all they are anomalies./.
