This isn't a good idea at all.

Bad government missmanagement put us here in the first place so we clearly need to do something else to get out of it.

so the solution to that is to sell off one of the country's assets with the biggest potential?

When's the last time they sold anything?

All Islamic nations, please form a double line here, if you want to buy a Candu reactor.

Harper is going to sell AECL's Candu business.

I have a bad feeling about this. If Ontario doesn't buy the CANDU it's pretty much over. At this time we should be developing our energy options, not reducing them.

The last time they sold a reactor? I think it's been 12 years. However the design is 50 years old and in the next 50 years nuclear is going to take over. We should be preparing now.

Its not just selling a company, we are selling and losing control over some very powerful technology

My level of outrage will depend on who it gets sold to, CANDU should remain in Canadian hands.

    No doubt.

It's bad enough ZENN got sold to a Pakistani company, now this. This country has a sad history of giving up on great companies/projects at exactly the wrong time.
