You have to die in order to be nominated for a Darwin Award.

Technically you just have to remove yourself from the gene pool. (You can do that without dying) And you can get an 'honorable mention' for coming close. Though this article has nothing to do with that at all.

The tomato incident was probably a publicity stunt to generate more sympathy for that 'poor woman that everyone's picking on'.

Riiiiight, as if there are not enough people attacking her for free, she has to hire someone to do it.

You've made the contention yourself that if nothing negative was said about her she'd probably fall off the radar. If she got hit square in the face by a tomato during a book signing she'd be front page news for a week straight.

You fall for it yourself. Since when is legitimate criticizim of a public political figure 'attacking'? People call Obama something new every day and he hardly pays it any notice -- because his career doesn't depend on being hated like Palin's does.

Why would she have to hire someone? There are a lot of people behind her that make money if she makes money. They could do the hiring. Palin wouldn't have to know about it at all in fact it would make for a better response on her part if she knew nothing about it.

In other words, for Palin, Inc. it is necessary to keep her looking like a victim, rather than letting her stand on her own merrits.

Interesting little conspiracy theory. I'll file that right next to Elvis lives - he was abducted by a UFO, and Santa got run over by reindeer.

I'll help you with your research though. Here's some mugshots of other conspirators who might have been in on it with the Tomato Man.

lol....yeah it's so 'out there'. Not at all in line with dozens of low level easy-to-execute conspiricies that have already taken place and are well known.

I find you and Bart scoffing at this hilarious since you've each come up with far far more incredible conspiricy theories than this one. But this one involves your heroine so now it's 'batty'.

You, Bart and myself both know - regardless of what you'll say here in public, that while there's no proof and it could easily be a perfectly organic incident that really in the scope of things it's not all that far fetched. Certainly nowhere near as far fetched as scientists fudging data...opps, lo and behold there it is!

And the Kennedy assassination was actually a PR stunt, too. Right?

Yeah, It's OK. We understand your outrage. It must have really pissed you off when Bush flew those planes into the world trade center.

Not to mention the vile stupidity, ideological malice, and blatant racism of those who keep saying that the current President of the United States isn't even an American citizen! 8O

Probably some budding reality show talent who didn't get in to a white house dinner.
