Who cares, we are leaving in 2010 anyways. Are we not?

Exactly. What's the deal with the CBC?
Their always telling us that Canadians are against the war in Afghanistan but now their bitching because we're not staying to help Obama?

    2011 I think.

And that pretty much confirms it,
we are out of the loop now, not that there is much benefit from
    being in the loop.

It is still much better to be an enemy of the US
than a friend. I dont see any troop deployments from China or Russia,
yet they get a personal briefing..

    Hurry up midterms.

Many will now start to say we cut and run,
with all the problems that will create.

Eight years, highest per capita death rate, Region stabilized, I hardly think that's cutting and running.

Joe Biden not good enough for you? :)

It does seem like one of our best allies in the region would be given a personal briefing, but I can't really speak to the politics involved in this decision. Can't please everyone and all that.

I'm sure it was some form of scheduling conflict and not a sleight against our nation's leader.
