this CO2 and runaway greenhouse crap has pretty much been debunked. We are entering a cooling phase not a warming phase.

As we get closer and closer to Copenhagen, and it becomes more and more obvious it's going to be a lame duck conference, catastrophist Richard Black's caterwauling gets more and more hysterical, and he makes less and less sense.

That's all this most recent whine of Black's is. A desperate cry for attention to a world that's no longer listening.

It must have broken Black's heart when his usually, reliably alarmist BBC had to break down and publish this one...

    What happened to global warming?

Not to worry, it's all going to end in 2012, just like all the disasters that happened in the year 2000. Remember Y2K? :D

Oh crap. That BBC article claims we're in for 20-30 years of cooling. I've got maybe that long left on the planet. Hate to think I'm going to spend most of it wearing a toque.

Six degrees of separation sounds like a bit of a stretch.

It should be interesting to see if the UK Met people are right--they predict that half of the years from 2010 to 1015 will be warmer than 1998 (currently the warmest on record). That's a pretty ballsy prediction, given this imputed PDO cooling trend.

I think that separation should be a last resort only when honest communication has brought no resolution to the marriage. What? Oh, weather...er...nevermind!

That's it! You got the solution to the problem! We should talk to the weather, take it to Oprah, Dr. Phil! They can solve it!
