Two kids pushing in the schoolyard. That's all.

This is a little more serious than that, I'm currently studying the North Korean issue for a senior political-military course, and this has the potential to be the catalyst for serious escalation, it might very well be two kids pushing in the schoolyard, but when the bully (NK) has been pushing and pushing and someone finally pushes back, what's to stop the bully from throwing a couple haymakers...
Kim Jong Nutjob has all the power right now and he knows it, six-party talks and the UN are friggin impotent, no balls... Someone needs some international viagara

The North Koreans this year decided to unilaterally assert a claim to fishing grounds that previous agreements have ceded to the South. It's typical behavior from the petulant DPRK and the spank down they got from the South Korean Navy will probably not be enough to deter them. With another winter famine season underway in the 'worker's paradise' they have to have access to the South's fishing grounds to help stave off starvation...and revolt.
