Shoot the bastard. I have have heard some folks argue that he should be transfused with the blood of a pig to denyhim his 72 virgins and river of honey.

I can understand the reasoning, but why dishonour the pig?

Why should the pig be dishonoured by this filthy
    example of biological material.

Awlaki, who currently resides in Yemen, said on his website that any decent Muslim cannot serve in the US Army, which "is directly invading two Muslim countries and indirectly occupying the rest," unless he intends to "follow the footsteps of men like Nidal."

As far as I am concerned, STAY IN YEMEN.

I do agree with his statement tho. How can you serve a country that is at war with countries who are of your faith... I can imagine every religious person would have a conflict with that.

Not really, they may be of your faith but that doesn't mean squat. If it was the country you were born in. I'd understand that. Cristain nations have had no trouble taking out fellow Christian nations. I mean WW2, Germany was mass murdering Jews and attacking other fellow Christian nations, other Christian nations had no trouble going to war with them.

Muslim countries are constantly killing each other. That's practicly how Iraq got invaded in the first place. Attacking a muslim country that the west liked more.

Than there is Saudi Arabia taking out rebels in I forget which country. They obviously have no trouble killing fellow muslims. Christians had no trouble killing fellow Christians.

The Imam is nothing more than a hare filled extremist like the other extremists. If he was a war protester, he should have been happy with if he had deserted or some bullshit. He was happy that he actually went on a killing spree that killed many U.S. soldiers and wounded many more. No matter how against the war you are, anybody that celebrates the person responsable for killing troops is a piece of shit.

Yeah, that's "amongst themselves". This is a christian nation fighting muslims, while you as a muslim are bullied for being one.

I am not saying the army cannot have muslims, I am saying I can understand people getting mental problems if they are not really convinced of what they are doing is the right thing. This guy obviously did not know where his priorities were.

I also think he should have been monitored more closely, he should have been reported, the moment he changed. I am seriously pissed off that THAT didn't happen, while they knew he got more and more extreme.

This could have been prevented, and I hope the military is learning from this.

Again, imo, there is no difference between this guy who went berserk, and the guy in Orlando who shot 8 people a day later...

And to take the WW2 analogy one step further. Fully 1/3 of the US army in WW2 was of German stock or descent. They may well have ended up killing their own family members and/or family friends that didn't emmigrate. Did they kill their fellow American soldiers because of the "stress". No, they sucked it up and did their duty as their NEW country asked them to do.

Which proves the theory that people nowadays are pussies, or then were "real men"..

Dont forget that 70 years ago, we did not have internet. News didn't travel fast...
