FORT HOOD, Texas (AP) — In retrospect, the signs of Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan’s growing anger over the U.S. wars in Iraq and Afghanistan seem unmistakable

    I agree.

I would like to see him tried
    with a terrorist attack though.

Biggest problem is this will not help Muslim recruiting at all.

Danquah assumed the military’s chain of command knew about Hasan’s doubts, which had been known for more than a year to classmates at the Maryland graduate military medical program. His fellow students complained to the faculty about Hasan’s “anti-American propaganda,” but said a fear of appearing discriminatory against a Muslim student kept officers from filing a formal complaint.

    There you go...

Danquah is a wise man, btw:
“Hopefully, they can put together the pieces and find out what in the world was in his mind and why he went crazy,” Danquah said.

logic isn't always an existing component to a f#cked up way of thinking. This guy should be locked in a cage and fed with a sling shot.

So you explain to me why that went wrong in his head NOW and not 5 years ago?

The rationale of an irrational act is irrelevant.

His reasoning could've been, and it would make as much sense.

Sure. Just days prior to his assault his neighbors reported that he had visitors of a Middle Eastern appearance. This was remarkable for that the man was not known to have visitors at all.
It's being said in back channels that he was shaved all over his body when he conducted the assault and this is conducive with his being a jihadi.

Face it, Brenda, as more and more detail comes to light on this guy there's more reason to conclude that he did this not only as part of his faith, but at the behest of others of his faith.

He was not emaotionally balanced, granted, but then I don't know of any observant Muslims who are.

I find it funny that "all muslims" are to blame here, but no one questions his collegues, higher in rank officers, or even his promotion. It was not "just" from last week, was it...

He should have been reported months ago.

I don't get many visitors. If my parents come over (my mom of Indonesian decent), and something happens, will that will be linked too?

I am shaven all over my body. Am I a jihadi now? I know men who are shaven all over their bodies. Are they?

I don't condone his actions, but I refuse to blame a whole religion because of the act of 1 individual.

I don't blame Catholics for their Pope, who talks bullshit, either.
