After this gaffe a transfer to Nanavut would be a gift. He'll be lucky if he can find a job anywhere in the known world.

"If you put a gun to my head and forced me to choose between Harper or Dion as PM, my answer is simple: Pull the trigger, please."

    I tend to agree.

One might think an experienced official in a foreign service obsessed with security

Oh God..oh God...please..did he just say that? Only one who is in complete ignorance of DFAIT culture would say that, and any simple investigation would show DFAIT staff mostly all take security as a bloody joke. But oh wait, the Dip had one things right, Watson just prefers stories to fall into his lap and pretend he knows everything about anything. His whole statement here shows he's clueless.

Now in Watson's defense, he's right, the guy was a moron to put that on facebook, even IF he thought it was a private page.

How close is this guy to retirement? This reads like another audition for the Liberal party. Hope he get's his wish.

Yeah but if he does join the liberals, Iggy will make sure to take away his computer!

The diplomat wrote that "quoting from an audit report is the laziest form of journalism, but then again, no-one(sic) ever accused Greg Weston of being a journalist."

Congrats, now at least he's stepped up and quoting FB verbatim!
