    "Kinda dick move"

<shrugs> tough. Canada is finally learning that nice guys finish last. Good. Frankly I think it was 'cheating' trying to rig womens hockey with a bullshit ref. Anytime we took a check - fine. Anytime they took a check - boom! Penalty. We plowed though 10 penalties in one period to rock them into the stone age and beat them senseless anyways. Truth is I think that was the last good game of hockey I saw.

They outta be happy: we just gave them a lame excuse to lessen the pain of all the losing they're going to do.

Try as they might.. even comic-Conservatives like Colbert can't make me care about speed skating. It's like NASCAR on ice.

At the 1:30 mark, we see he's wearing clown shoes?

Besides, that dosen't qualify because their turning left AND right. Maybe if speed skaters used a figure-8 track, it would be more fun to watch.

Fife.. when I read that before, the picture didn't show up so I had no clue what you were talking about. This still dosen't make much sense but I'm distracted and not complaining.
I knew a guy who's sons were into speed skating and he went on and on about it. It's damned dull to watch too. I'll stick to Rollerball.

I don't know. I kinda like the short track version of the sport. The one where there are more elbows and knees thrown than in a no holds barred wrasslin match.

Other than that I have to agee with you. The longer the race the more boring it becomes.
