I thought it looked cool, at least someone in this country is willing to fly the flag.

These people that are complaining have WAY too much time to think and not enough brain matter to do it with.

They should be glad the Canadian Flag can be displayed in public. Here in the UK you're not allowed to fly the Union Flag or any of the 4 countries flags as they might offend immigrants. Rediculous I know, but true.

Yep, everywhere! We've even been told we can't hang flags in our block room windows on camp as it could offend immigrants working on the camp.

Oh shit, I was just in Scotland for the last while. If I had known that I would have had flags flapping all over the property. 5 actually. 1 for each country in the UK and a Canadian flag. What could they do to me? I don't live there.

And maybe a floating pig ala Pink Floyd

All thanks to the European Union and the Labour government, this country is going down the toilet. I'm trying to convince the wife to move to Canada but the snow and cold doesn't agree with her.

I've never been to Vancouver, honestly...but I don't think it can compare to what I see in Montreal at Christmas...
