Good, this 2 for 1 was a stupid idea to begin with.

Holy shit!! Someone in the justice system actually did something that makes sense??
Mark this day on your calendar peeps, it'll be a long time before it happens again.

    It's about damn time

You do realize this only pertains to time served prior to sentencing and has nothing to do with the actual length of sentence.

Watch this speed up the backlog of pending trials. The 'accused' have for years, been getting their lawyers to delay for as long as possible knowing they would be getting '2 4 1'.

I am very hesitant to open a bottle of campaign yet. I trust the Canadian judicial system as much as I trust a Michael Myers wannabe to take me to the movies

It is a start but we have a long way to go, next mandatory minimums and no parole for sex offenders . Wonder if Stephen has the heart to fight that one through, for that matter any politician

It's about time. If you do the crime you should do the time. All of it.

Holy crap, I guess the Liberal senate was given a real talking to.

Maybe they realized when they pissed off all 4 parties that it was a quick way to lose their jobs.
