It's a nice little run the Oilers are on right now ... too bad so many of them are too messed up to enjoy it. As Edmonton's list of illnesses and injuries grows longer, the list of merry men grows shorter.
Every team takes precautions when the flu bug hits, from individual water bottles, making players with symptoms dress in isolated rooms to not even allowing some to be even close to the team. The thing that turns my stomach is all the spitting, spitting on the ice, spitting on the bench. The players fall down and slide through it, their always running their gloves along the top on the dasher board covered with spit on the bench. And what do they do when there?s a brake in action or a whistle, take their mouth guards out of their mouths with their gloves. It just makes me shake my head.
So a hockey game is one big exchange of bodily fluids.
No, life is.

I like how Quinn gave the team the day off after their win the other night with express orders to STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM EACH OTHER
Good thing Glenn Anderson's no longer with the club.
