Second poll with Liberals tanking and the Conservatives in majority territory. Can't wait for the Senate Liberals blocking crime legislation issue to register in the polls.
Harper will be smart this time, he won't precipitate an election, and Ignatieff will continue to be low in the polls for advocating an election.
Also the NDP-Conservative relationship to keep the gov't going will not last very long. Not a long term solution.
Since Dion became leader the Liberals have made three huge strategic errors:
1. The carbon tax 2. The coalition 3. The decision early this year to have a coronation instead of proceeding with a leadership convention.
Ignatieff has three time the IQ of Jack Layton but only one-tenth of the political savvy. In the House of Commons he comes off a poor second best to the Prime Minister.

I'm not surprised at the poll result.
The CBC:
"The percentage of respondents who disapproved of the way Ignatieff is handling his job was 51 per cent, up from 38 per cent in August.
Ignatieff's approval rating was 19 per cent, down from 29 per cent two months ago."
We have a football song (soccer to you lot) for the deafening silence from the losing sides supporters.
"Oh it's all gone quiet over there.......all gone quiet, all gone quiet over the there!"
The sounds of silence from the Liberal posters say it all.
