Of course, Harper is totally evil. If he doesn't want an election, it is not because it is the most responsible thing to do as a prime minister, of course not, he's evil. He does it only for personnal interests, since he's evil.

"I think Canadians expect, at a time of this kind of economic challenge ... members of Parliament of all parties to be hard at work on the economy and not playing those kinds of parliamentary games," Harper said.

This coming from the guy who tried to kneecap his opponents last fall...

A move that polls showed was quite popular with voters.

In the immortal words of Michael Buffer:

    "Let's Get Ready to Rumble"

Then we'll see how the public really feels about Iggy and his party, forcing yet another unwinable election, just so they can feel like they did something political.

Something tells me that other than Kenmore, there aren't alot of people who are enamoured with the idea of another election.

Well today is day # one thousand three hundred and thirty of the Harper government.

Tomorrow will be day # one thousand three hundred and thirty one.

So yes, his days are numbered.

It's also the same number of days the Liberals have been in opposition, in case you forgot.

    I'm looking forward to it.

An engineered election that flies in the face of public opinion, with a lacklustre popinjay with no real policies leading a party weighed down with political baggage, tired, pedestrian MPs, and a recent history of indecision, irascibility, and political narcolepsy.

    What's not to like?

That being said, if the CPC can't eke out a majority this time, maybe they will finally retire the Easter Island idol of a PM in favour of a more personality friendly model.

You got that right. $300 million was just spent last October on an election. Don't call another a year later and piss away another $300 million, that's just friggin' ridiculous. I can guarantee voter turnout will be even shittier than last year and those that bother...it would not suprise me at all to see another Conservative minority again.

The call of an election would be the worst thing the Liberals could do .

Iggy is just showing how stupid he really is.

He wings a few favors in some polls over the Cons for like what, a week? And he decides to start yalping about calling an election and that right at that very moment, he figured it's the right time to toss his confidence in the Cons, only because it favors him..... sound familiar? excuse me.

And when that got squashed by the NDP and Bloc because a trickle of work was getting done and some people might actually get some help of some kind..... he thinks it's a great idea to stick to his guns and keep trying to cause an election.

    Is he High?

I think so.... I think somebody's on the PCP if you ack me.

Like My Jebus, I figured the guy had some brains in him through his past experiences in life, yet he's so damn transparent, I can see the bullsh*t oozing up his throat before he speaks.

Seriously, does politics make people stupid or something when they enter or do they just save it all up for one big blowout?

Jeez, pass me the bong, I gotta try and make some sense of this crap.
