I don't like this bill, I like the bill Gerry B put forth several months ago that also scrapped ATT's, included 10 year licensing and auto renewal procedures.

This bill is 'just' long gun registry removal, no significant change to anything else.

I agree but removing the registry is the first critical step.
The fact that all the opposition has lined up to fight this is telling.
So much for cost savings and effective government.

as long as Iggy stays this course he is setting, whenever the next election does come he is pretty much assuring a CPC majority. Fine either way by me.

The majority of Canadians never wanted a gun registry to begin with. Scrap the registry and write off the loss.
