KANDAHAR AIRFIELD, Afghanistan — A funny thing happened to Canadian soldiers on patrol in Panjwaii district the other day. An ordinary Afghan showed them where three roadside bombs were buried.

    It takes a lot of courage for the people to give info against the taliban and in panjwaii no doubt.
