"The charges are false," said Maher Hussein Smadi (father), a ministry of agriculture engineer in the town of Kofranjeh, northwest of Amman.

"We as a family never believed in terrorism and we never believed in violence."

He added: "The FBI fabricated the entire thing to embarrass [President Barack] Obama because of his good relations with Muslims."

THe FBI did a good job on this one. This Islamic terrorist pig-fucker upon conviction spends the rest of his life rotting in prison.

This wasn't the only one. They caught another in a sting like this one and a third who was caught when he was buying explosive making materials.

An Afghan immigrant was on the verge of unleashing a terrorist attack on New York City on the Sept. 11 anniversary but was scared off after drawing suspicion from police, prosecutors said Friday as they provided new details about how far along the plot was.
