TORONTO - An unpublished Canadian study that suggests seasonal flu shots raise a person's risk of catching swine flu is causing a lot of concern internationally, a senior official of the World Health Organization said Thursday.

    Can somebody fix the link?

I'm currently watching this bit of info on the CBC National....

    I mean seriously.

"Take this shot, everybody's doing it. If you don't then you put everybody as risk blah blah blah."

"Oh wait, this vaccine doesn't cover the paticular strand of flu, so here.... have this one."

"OH WAIT! Those who just got that shot we told you to get is now going to make this new H1N1 flu worse for you and your life is going to be a living hell for a week or so."

"For everybody else, we have this new vaccine for the H1N1 flu, you better get it like everybody else, or you put everyone at risk...... blah blah blah."

    And it just keeps going.

    Last flu I had?

Back when I was in Grade 9, a few days after I got the shot and I was so sick and vomiting everytime I moved and hallucinating... overall the worst flu I ever had.

Haven't had a shot since.... haven't had anything more then a common cold since.

Vaccines might be good for some people, perhaps more.... but it's highly over rated and imo, causes more crap then it prevents.

One person who has seen the study says it seems to suggest that those who got a seasonal flu shot were less likely to develop severe disease if they became infected than those who hadn't received the shot.

Sounds good. Older folks should get a seasonal flu shot since they are the most susceptible with everyone else getting an H1N1 shot.

    Simple!
