The EKOS poll, done exclusively for the CBC and released Thursday, shows the Tories with 37 per cent support, followed by the Liberals with 29.9 per cent. The New Democratic Party followed with 13.8 per cent, the Green Party with 10.2 per cent and the Bloc Québécois with 9.1 per cent.

Why should that surprise anyone? The Libs new leader is even less effective than the last one. Nothing to offer new, he gives the impression that being party leader is a research project leading up to an academic treatise.

And the Libs are just a bunch of tired old faces - McCallum, Dryden, Goodale, Jennings, Coderre, Cotler, Rae, Dosanjh etc. They don't look like a new party, just the same old bunch that gave us Paul Martin and the Sponsorship scandal.

The more Harper stands up and tramples on Iran like he did yesterday, the more support he will get in Toronto and all over Canada.

Lots of them Jewish folk in Toronto :)
