Outremont. Quebec squabble turns up heat on Ignatieff

Ignatieff sparked a backlash within the party when he confirmed Monday that he's decided to appoint a woman as the Liberal candidate in Outremont, a Montreal riding held by Cauchon for 11 years before his retirement from politics in 2004.

Iggy is having a rough month, hope he can turn things around soon. If not I woulnd be suprised to see another leader race in the works.

the leader's office is now considering a number of other options, including:Allowing Liberal grassroots in Outremont to choose their preferred candidate in an open nomination contest.

LMAO, yeah, like that one will be considered long.
