Canada should be doing much more to tackle climate change, and consider closing down the controversial oilsands projects in northern Alberta, the head of an international scientific panel on climate change said yesterday.

Yup, that sounds like a good idea. Lets just shut it down over night. Should do wonders for the economy.

A photo of him standing next to Al Gore. That sums up the validity of his statements and the legitimacy of a Nobel price

Maybe Gore will give Canada some shares in his carbon credit trading corporations....

Sure, then we can buy oil from the Saudis like everyone else and fund the terrorists who are killing our guys in Afghanistan.

    NOT!

    "No: Albertan"

We'll put the oil sands on hold right about the same time that big dirty cloud disappears from over India.

Don't these foreigners understand that the more they come into this country telling us how to run our business the more pissed off we get and will do just the opposite?

Exactly. I'd rather have "dirty" oil, than "blood" oil. If anybody thinks that stopping the oil sands will make us magically stop using oil is an idiot.

I don't agree with you that much boot, but...this should be common sense for all.

Yeah, yeah, we'll get right on that.

    Check back in 20 years.

Maybe the cool down is due to the oilsands. Lets expand the operation and get really cold.
