Roberto Luongo stopped every shot he faced in his first pre-season game action and the new, fit versions of Steve Bernier and Kyle Wellwood made key contributions in a 3-0 Vancouver road win over Anaheim on Thursday.

The big news here is that the Canadians won their 1st post-season game last night.
Sold-out the Bell Center too.

Yeah posting pre-season games could put the whammy on a team. Just like how Pro athletes don't want to be on the cover of SI's season preview, of what ever sport they play. They usually have a terrible season, or are injured early and are gone for the year.

Good to see some hockey hilites for a change tho. Getting tired of those sad sack Jays leading off most nights.
