The new arrangement will give European countries a hand in setting quotas and even the inspection of Canadian vessels

Please tell me this is some kind of a joke.

Smells like the CBC was cooking some BS for dinner on Thursday. Comments from department employees are reliable sources

The fact that this never appeared on Newswatch and has only 49 comments on a CBC reader forum makes it doubtful .

Maybe Harper realizes he's on his way out and figures he can put the screws to Atlantic Canada once and for all.

Is this governing for the people? I don't think so.

Of course the CBC is a joke. They suck over a billion dollars worth of tax payers money and can't get a single show in the top 10 in ratings.

They ain't got Dr. Phil, Judge Judy, Big Brother, Survivor or any of those really worthwhile shows, eh.

Here is where I would type in something funny like some bad shows that air on CBC but for the life of me I can't think of a single one.

I guess that speaks volumes right there. Great use of over a billion dollars.

BTW, if I want to watch documentaries on moose droppings, I can get it on the learning channel.

Only if they bought it from CBC. Damn even National Geographic deals with plane crashes, 9/11 almost anything but nature or geography.
