QUEBEC — Bloc Quebecois Leader Gilles Duceppe says the 1970 Front de Liberation du Quebec manifesto is part of the history of the province, and he told reporters Tuesday morning those who object to reading the manifesto want to practice "censorship."
I guess censorship is only bad when it's something you like.
Mon Dieu! M.Duceppe,you dissapoint me!
Quebec the world is laughing at you again and what's more you know you deserve it.
Is this the same group who forced the stop of the battle reenactment too?
I guess censorship is only bad when it's something you like.
Yes it is.
They said that the reenactment was totally inapropriate because this was a lost battle (of France, not our ancestors) BUT the terrorists of the FLQ is "part of our history" and must be highlighted...
While the Battle of the Plains of Abraham changed the history of North America, the terrorism acts of the FLQ is more "historic".
btw, this story is doing a lot of noise in Quebec. A lot of people are boycotting the event and it's seen very badly in the media. I guess it's a good thing for once.
Oh and, they wanted one the FLQist who murdered Pierre Laporte to read the manifesto but he's living in Cuba now. Shame.
Isn't that a dead give away.
Why do you support these people Kenmore?
Perhaps they should lose some funding for this event

Great question

Michael Jean has some FLQ contacts, one of them "use" to go over for dinner from time to time, and even built them a cabinet. Maybe they should get intouch with the GG for a phone number or something..
