t has been a very bad run for Dalton McGuinty's Ontario Liberals.
Now, with a federal election fluttering in the autumn winds, political experts are asking if the clouds of provincial scandal could waft over the federal Liberals as well. How much can
Voters also remember Dalton telling the Muslims to take Sharia and jam it up their asses. That still carries a lot of voter loyalty.
I don't really believe that there's a connection between province and federal parties but some people do.

I boycotted the last election on this very issue, I was all pumped to vote for John Tory and then he bloody well gave the election (giftwrapped) to McGuinty with his stance on Sharia law.
I'll give McGuinty this; every now and then he manages, beyond all odds, to get something right.
Dalton had a GREAT week. Problems were discovered in the Ontario Lottery Corporation and he got in there, RIGHT AWAY, and took action. Isn't that EXACTLY what we want in our leaders, to sniff out problems and act accordingly? What would the Cons have done had they been in power? I hope exactly the same. I've been as hard on Dalton as anyone on CKA, but he's handled the OLG scandal exactly as he should have.

Completely agree.
I think he did what anyone of us would and should have done.

Voters also saw him take his contract with the Ontario Taxpayer's Federation and shove it up our collective asses. Voters are also going to see him bring in the single largest tax grab in Ontario's history.
Besides shooting down Sharia law(as will it should have been, this IS fucking Canada last time I checked) the only other worthwhile thing that dimwit has done is boost the amount people on provincial disability get.
I can't even give him credit for the OLC thing because this has been a problem for years, it's not a sudden revelation. I'm of the opinion that investigating was done to ensure nobody he knew was involved or would get caught in the crossfire before "jumping" on the issue.
