With a little imagination and a few props, London Ontario Traffic Sgt. Tom O’Brien says drivers can eliminate the stress of being late and risking lives of children headed back to school next week.
I tried the flat tire thing once. A friend and I use to alternate driving to work when we were 16. One night coming back from the Stampede my friend blew a tire to shreds on his mom’s car. I drove the next day to work. So the next day after that, he slept in and we were late. After trying to come up with a good excuse, I said we could tell our boss about the tire from the other night. We were pretty happy with ourselves , got to work and my friend told the boss we were lucky to be alive, come and look at the tire we blew out on the way to work. He opened the trunk and there was a new tire on the rim. His mom had gone down and had it put on for him the day I drove.
Should of seen the look on his face.
It was so funny we never even got in shit.
