MIAMI - A bank in Florida refused to cash a check for an armless man because he could not provide a thumbprint.

    Yes, we in the states have our share of morons, and we wonder why our banking system is in the tank.

    If I were him I'd polietly ask if my footprint up his ass would suffice.

    Not stupidity, beaurocracy.

    I'm willing to bet the teller, and later manager feared for their jobs if they authorised this without the security features as listed by the books. If a person can be fired for giving away a stale doughnut, I'd be afraid of losing my job over something this stupid.

    Bank deserves to lose an arm and a leg over this because of thir stupid policies. :roll:
