VANCOUVER -- The operators of Vancouver's controversial drug safe-injection site are suing one of its critics for defamation and slander over a two-year-old article.

Looks like the cheerleades for the injection houses don't like folks questioning their cooked data. Poor babies.

It looks like their mad because they like to think the RCMP has a hate on for them. Considering that the addicts still must steal to buy their illegal drugs, I can see why the RCMP would hate them. Having those poor addicts OD would probably reduce the crime in the area and restore the quality of life to most of the region.

I doubt a lawsuit is going to get them anywhere. Were they seriously expecting the RCMP to get the science right, or even understand the science? That's not their job.

They had a little extra cash from cutting & freezing the rank and file salaries so they figured thay would create a make-work project?

I don't know that is just a guess.

A 2 year old article? Isn't there a time limit within which to file such a suit?
