""We aren't sitting here to condone it. It just doesn't meet the hate-crime criteria that we have," said OPP Const. Chris Hunter, who described the video as "inappropriate" and "in poor taste.""

Lucky for the Indians there are several government services for punishing people who legally haven't done anything wrong

What do people from India have to do with this story?

You're right though, too much human rights commission action these days. Heap insults and derision on the you tube douche bag and call it a day.

In?di?an??/??ndi?n/ Show Spelled Pronunciation Show IPA
    Use indians in a Sentence
    See web results for indians
    See images of indians
–noun 1. Also called American Indian, Amerind, Amerindian, Native American. a member of the aboriginal people of America or of any of the aboriginal North or South American stocks, usually excluding the Eskimos.

"It's a human rights issue at this point," Henry said last week. "... you can't ridicule anyone."

Really? So now ridicule fits the definition of hate crime?

Holy shit 8O I just hope the government don't catch on to that "law"

I'm Scottish and Welsh, I guess that means I should sue the English for all the derisive jokes I've heard??? Ohhhhh but that's ok cuz I'm a W.A.S.P. right?

Though a private citizen could still pursue a civil action through a hate-crime tribunal, Ontario Provincial Police who examined the video say it doesn't constitute a crime.

Not that the idiot who posted this doesn't deserve to have his ass kicked, what really scares me is the fact that you haven't committed a crime, but they can still hang your sorry ass out to dry because of a Tribunal, which BTW is full of lawyers. 8O

Not exactly a just system is it.

ROTFL he means Indian isn't pc and most people don't use the term anymore. Especially cuz the First Nations people ain't from India.

Strangely enough, the Indians in the US have no issues with the name. At least the ones I ran across.

Yup. While it would appear that they can't make it a crime, they've still found a way to punish stupidity.

There are alot of people who should be quaking in their boots, knowing this.

I knew he was just trying to make a PC point, but the term Indian is still valid.
