WASHINGTON -- NASA is charged with seeking out nearly all the asteroids that threaten Earth but does not have the money to do the job, a U.S. government report says.

this is like the dog chasing a car, what is he going to do with it when he catches it?
can we do something to keep an impact from happening?
maybe we could launch sharks with laser beams at it.
its not the movies, for the amount they miss, no amount of money is going to see them all.
