What a goof. Time for the losers to move back to Toronto where they belong.

They were called redneck Albertans when this first came out. What are they now, just miss guided youth from the inner city?

The guy should shut up, look sad, and wait until something more interesting happens.

Just the fact that this was/is considered news is the only sad part about it.

If poaching was news, then there would be no room for anything else in the local papers and news casts in these parts.

    What an asshole!

Poster boy to make hunting groups look better? Did they think that "real" hunters would condone this? defend them?..I think not, real hunters would never do such as they did. But we will be branded by them, there is no doubt of that, assholes.

"What we didn't appreciate," Fraser said, "was the fact that various hunter associations and groups decided to make us their poster boy to try to make themselves look better."

Fraser then lashed out at the hunting enthusiasts: "The fact of the matter is, in a month from now they're going to be slaughtering thousands of birds and deer and all sorts of other animals and nobody seems to care about that."

    You know what?

I don't think anybody really gives a sh*t what they don't appreciate or how they're being viewed in the public..... their complete morons if they think this ignorance excuse will make everything blow away.

And the fact that he tries to argue that hunters will be slaughtering thousands of birds soon, clearly shows his complete idiocy on the subject he's involved in.

One big difference between what his dumb ass did and what regular hunters do, is that during the hunting season, they actually have a chance at survival and can fly away/get away a lot easier..... compared to when they were stuck in the pond, couldn't fly and him and his idiot friends gunned them all down.

The other fact is that the majority of hunters eat what they kill.... these morons decided to just gun them down, laugh about it and drive away, making it a complete waste of life, both the birds and their own.

He and his pals should honestly just shut the hell up, avoid looking anymore stupid and accept the consequences of their actions.

Although starting a media fight with just about every hunter out there seems about par for their intelligence.... yet another brilliant move on their part.

Fraser conceded that he knew nothing about hunting laws and learned about poaching and gun safety through the experience.

    Well look at the guy:

^ It looks like the only hunting experience he ever got before all this was on the Nintendo with the orange zapper.

Oy....you know, him and his buddies went out and slaughtered water fowl....not for any other reason then to kill. Hunters hunt and harvest those same birds, you bet, but they don't shoot the shit out of them and leave them. We harvest them as quickly as possible and then take them home to feed our families. Big difference then the arbitrary killing of birds then leaving them behind. No purpose in that killing, it's just killing. And as I had just pointed out to me by my better half, they were not hunting, they were carnival shooting with live animals as their targets...and that's just sick.

Exactly!! They're sorry because they didn't know it was illegal to hunt?? The fucking morons weren't hunting......they were just out killing for target practice.

A 'real' hunter understands the sacrifice that an animal has made when they killed it and has some reverence for it. In hunting and becoming in tune with the hunted one gains a greater understanding of the natural world and the animal kingdom they are a part of. This is the 'zen' of hunting that has been lost in the modern world. Now for way too many it's just about 'bagging an animal'...and,'got 'un!'.

The punishment was severe enough (except I think the hunting license should've been revoked permanently) but I think what buddy's experiencing is the power of youtube and a little 20-20 hindsight. If the nobs hadn't posted (bragged) this on youtube they never would've been in the trouble they're in now.

Yep yep yep. Now that they are from Toronto it's all, "let's forget where he's from...". So are Torontonians rednecks too, or just chubbed-out gun-happy morons?

Fraser conceded that he knew nothing about hunting laws and learned about poaching and gun safety through the experience.
"I had no idea you could only hunt migratory birds at a certain time. This has been really educational," Fraser said...

Tough shit fat boy. Hunting laws are there to ensure that there is a balance between the needs of hunters and ensuring the survival of the species of the animals being hunted. If your 30% cheese doodle brain can't grasp that simple concept then you should have received a harsher sentence.

'Fraser then lashed out at the hunting enthusiasts: "The fact of the matter is, in a month from now they're going to be slaughtering thousands of birds and deer and all sorts of other animals and nobody seems to care about that."'

Because they will be doing it legally. And every hunter with half a brain knows, you CANNOT shoot ducks on the water and you can't shoot animals that are at a water source. They will also be eating what they shot, where as this fucking loser was just in it for the sake of killing.

Nice try at deflecting the issue though. He don't feel one bit sorry about what he did, he feels bad he got caught. Period. By deflecting the issue onto genuine hunters, he attempts to justify his actions and therefore attempts to absolve himself of any real wrongdoing. Fucking idiot.
Secondly, those 3 should never, EVER, be allowed to possess a firearm for the rest of their lives.
