WINNIPEG -- A Winnipeg man is suing the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, claiming his son's fingers were burned by live wires sticking out of an electrical outlet in the parking lot at the organization's Donald Street headquarters.
At first I though, is your son stupid, who toughes exposed wirs, then I read the story. It seems to me he has a case, poor maintenance and a potentially hazardous situation. No one likes to see their kids hurt, especially when it's preventable. Good luck to him on his case.
Charities have the same obligation as all organizations to abide by health and safety laws. If they had a proper inspection system this would have been picked up and fixed.
