Boy, 12, charged after police chase

SASKATOON -- A 12-year-old Saskatoon boy has been charged with possession of stolen property, assault with a weapon, failure to stop for police, two counts of hit and run, and failure to hold a driver's licence after leading police on a car chase.

Two possibilities here.

Scenario #1 - Kid gets charged with all the above. Spends some time in custody. God willing he learns a lesson and doesn't endanger the lives of the innocent in the future.

Scenario #2 - Powers that be in justice say "awwww, he's only 12 years old and doesn't know better". A stern talking to then off you go home and be a good boy.
