Blackcomb (Whistler) Mountain fire explodes to 75 hectares

A wildfire on Blackcomb Mountain has exploded in size, growing to 75 hectares from four hectares in 90 minutes and forcing the evacuation of Blackcomb Mountain and Whistler Mountain.

Well on the upside... might clear some trees for more gladded skiing!

wow on the radio at 4:30 they said they had just evacuated Blackcomb mountain, but this article says both mountains were evacuated. Good thing I wasn't up there downhill biking today, that would suck.
