Aside from the obvious example of another gangland steroid monkey, I found this part strange:

Police seized a loaded handgun, as well as brass knuckles and a gun holster, from the vehicle.
Harpinder Singh Johal is facing 15 offences, including two counts each of uttering threats and assault, as well as impaired driving and driving while over .08.

Why no firearm charges? Reguardless of if it was his property, he immediately broke the law when he took it out of the house. If the manditory firearm charges went aheadm this goon would be away for a manditoy 5 years.

nice observation, I had assumed they would have to charge him with the weapons offence. This should be interesting.

I would imagine that one of the 15 charges is a fire arms charge. The reporter only listed a couple of the 15.

I hope so but I doubt it. In fact, I'll bet that without the manditory firearm charge, he'll do less than 5 years. I'd bet that he dosen't do a day in jail.

Johal (also known as Jovals, Jauvla, Jauhal Jauhla) is a prominent Jatt family clan originally from from modern Pakistan and North India. The Johals are Jat found both in Punjab, India and Punjab, Pakistan.

Most of the Johal clan/family members now reside in England, Canada, and United States. They are considered to be one of the most affluent Sikh families in Europe, Asia, and N. America.

It takes very little to flip some people out... I notice all kinds of rude behaviour among motorists and pedestrians in Halifax....

    Yup.

Seems we're becoming more and more a "me, me, me" society.
I see lack of respect, courtesy, empathy and patience almost on a daily basis.
Just look at some of the posts here.
It's sad, really and a bit frightening sometimes.

It's easy though to treat others correctly, you just need look at how you would like to be treated.
